Ford Park Live in Oshkosh abruptly moves, cancels summer concerts

OSHKOSH – There won’t be any concerts at Ford Park Live this summer after all.

A few days before the field once at home in Country USA and Rock USA were to host the first shows under a new name and direction, back-to-back nights by the Grammy-winning bluegrass phenomenon Billy Cordes Friday and Saturday were abruptly transferred to the Leach Amphitheater in Oshkosh.

Both concerts remain the same evenings and previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new venue.

An article Tuesday on the Ford Park Live Facebook page reads: “Due to unforeseen and persistent delays in site operations, Ford Park Live will not be able to open this summer as originally planned. “

The only other two previously announced events for the grounds, a pair of multi-group rock shows presented by Chevelle on June 26 and Halestorm on June 27, were canceled on May 28 “due to a scheduling conflict,” according to a Ford Park Facebook Post.
